Artist Submission Terms & Conditions

KRZ Publishing / Robert Ocean Music

By submitting music, information, or materials to KRZ Publishing (“KRZ,” “we,” “us”), you (“Artist,” “you”) acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. No Obligation to Accept or Represent

Submission of music or materials does not guarantee acceptance, representation, placement, or licensing.
KRZ reserves the sole right to review, evaluate, and accept or decline any submission for any reason.

2. Ownership & Authority

By submitting materials, you confirm that:

You are the sole owner of the submitted works or
You have full legal authority from all writers, publishers, producers, and rights holders to submit the material
All submissions are free and clear of third-party claims, disputes, or conflicting agreements

You agree that KRZ is not responsible for resolving ownership or rights disputes.

3. No Confidential Relationship

Submissions are not confidential.
KRZ may already be working with similar material or concepts and shall not be restricted from doing so.

No fiduciary, partnership, employment, or agency relationship is created by submission alone.

4. Evaluation & Internal Use License

You grant KRZ a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

Review, analyze, and internally evaluate submitted materials
Use submissions for internal cataloging, metadata analysis, and pitch preparation

This license does not permit public release or commercial exploitation without a separate written agreement.

5. No Compensation for Submissions

You understand that:

No compensation is owed for submissions, evaluations, or rejections
Any future compensation, royalties, or fees will be governed only by a signed agreement

6. Metadata, Registration & Accuracy

If metadata, ISRCs, registrations, or administrative services are later provided:

You are responsible for the accuracy of all information supplied
KRZ is not liable for errors resulting from incorrect or incomplete artist data
Artist remains responsible for PRO registrations unless otherwise agreed in writing

7. No Infringement Warranty

You represent and warrant that submitted materials:

Do not infringe copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, or other intellectual property
Do not contain unauthorized samples or uncleared third-party content

You agree to indemnify KRZ against claims arising from false representations.

8. No Submission Returns

KRZ is not responsible for returning submitted materials.
You should retain copies of all files prior to submission.

9. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

10. Agreement to Terms

By submitting materials or contacting KRZ Publishing for artist intake, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Artist Submission Terms.
