This one I feel is pretty obvious and it was certainly intended that way when I wrote it. I think a lot of us underestimate how much of a problem the theme of this song could be. Everyone has experienced a “Debbie Dower” in their life, I’m sure. The one that’s always got something negative to say, or always in a bad mood, or just plain old sucks. This can be a serious drag on the energy levels and I thought it would be fun write about that. To politely in song say “Bugger off Debbie Downers!”
